Dreamweaver : Creating a new HTML File

• Select File –> New
• Create a new HTML file by using the following settings:
• 
• Your window will look like this.
  • Make sure the Split View is active
• 
• Always SAVE your file first into your Work Folder.
• Save your file as "YourName_FirstWebPage.html"
  • DO NOT leave your file name as untitled.html

TASK

Click on the Code View window, copy the HTML code.

When you have completed the code, click on the Design View window (to update the window) to see the result.
